Yesterday I was back on the hospital to remove the metal screws, plates and pins from both of my ankles and my elbow. While I was flying around on a lightning cloud in a world where the dogs can talk and fish can walk, the surgeons spent two hours pulling everything out and sewing me back together. Pretty amazing.
I have to admit that I did not feel very awesome when I woke up. The pain was shooting through my elbow and ankles and I got overwhelmed by the feeling of having to start this whole process over. The only difference is that I know that I can do it. I know what to do, and what it takes, and it again reminded me to not taking anything for granted.
I’ll be back before you know it!
